If not me, who? If not now, when?
I’m an ambivert — a solid mix of introvert and extrovert. There are times when I want to be in the center of the fun, while other times I’d rather slouch out on the sofa with my dog and binge watch TV.
Despite (or in spite of) that, there are times when I want the world to see my brilliance . . . to witness me at my best . . . to see me shine. That’s when I don’t shy away from the spotlight but rather I walk towards it. Hell, I don’t mind celebrating me, and now’s as good a time as any!

This is a great mantra. But I also have to note that the outfit is fabulous! Thanks for shining your light and letting people know midlife women should be seen and heard!

Thanks Karen! As for the outfit, the top was bursting with colors and that made me feel like I was loud and in charge! It was the perfect pic for my mantra. BTW, I’m glad you’re enjoying the mantra series. Thanks for kicking off the conversation. Have a wonderful day!

You described me to a TEE, I am introvert and an extrovert and never knew the word for it! I love this, I love your spunk, passion and your outfit is KICKIN! Thanks or the mantra today, I needed it!

Awwww…thanks Carissa! I didn’t discover that that in-between trait had a name until about a year or so ago, but it fits me like a comfy tee, too! 🙂 Glad this mantra could feed your soul. Have a great day.
