Menopause. Generally, you can’t get through midlife without it. While not every woman experiences menopause the same, many women really feel the effects of it. But there’s hope. Did you know that yoga can help ease your menopause symptoms? Neither did I. And then I met Julie Garrido.
Julie is a yoga teacher who specializes in yoga for menopause. Imagine that. Julie discovered yoga later in life and it’s given her a great understanding of how our body changes with age and how limitations and restrictions can creep up on us. Having witnessed firsthand how much yoga helped alleviate her menopause symptoms, Julie set out on a mission to help other women going through this difficult stage of their lives. Julie’s passion is helping women take back control of their lives and become the best version of themselves.
One of Julie’s favorite quotes is a simple yet effective one:
“To begin, begin.” ~William Wordsworth
