Midlife Mantra: Mind Over Menopause

Menopause is a moment in time. However, that moment can seem to drag on forever and leave many women in misery. Brain fog. Hot flashes. Mood swings. And that’s not even the half of it. Sheesh!

I have to constantly remind myself that the way I think about menopause helps me to deal with it. I know that my negative thoughts can have a negative impact not only on my well-being, but on my health as well. It’s true what they say: mind over matter . . . 

I mean, mind over menopause.

      Yeah Rena, menopause isn’t high on the list of my all-time favorite things, but I figured since I have to go through it, I may as well try to cope. Thanks for kicking off the conversation!
