When you realize you have a voice, you want to use it. Of course, you’ve always had your voice, but perhaps others obscured it for their own selfish reasons…talk about an intrusion, huh?!?
Along with your voice comes your story. And who can tell your story better than you? In most cases, no one can. So it’s up to you to be not only the author of your story but the narrator of that story as well.
There was a time when I allowed others to decide the direction of my life. My silence was my acquiescence. Not anymore.
My life. My voice. My story. And I tell myself that I am the only one who can tell the tale . . .
