One of the perks of being a midlife woman is that you now have time for travel. Okay, I’m not saying you can go anywhere you want at anytime . . . I get that you have responsibilities. But, come on . . . you’ve worked hard to earn a living. You’ve saved a few pennies here and there, and now you’re putting those coins (and folding money, too!) to damn good use!
This great big world is ready for you to explore. From the white sand beaches of Isla Holbox, Mexico, to exquisite beauty of Zhangye Danxia Mountains, China, to the greatness of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia — you’ll never run out of places to discover.
And you know what’s so wonderful about travel? Even though you may want someone to tag along, it’s not a hard and fast requirement. You’re free to travel solo! Imagine it: you and your intrepid spirit, conquering the globe. Yup, that’s the kind of midlife for you!

Colour me interested!!!! I’m trying to set off to explore! I think solo is a great opportunity to find something new….i think you try more new things and grow more than if you have a friend with you. I enjoy both!

Good for you! I agree about trying more when solo. Yes, it’s great to travel with a buddy, but for me, before I got married and I traveled solo, I was more open to chatting with people, I was more apt to trying new things and more adventurous.
